Located not far from central Zurich, the former printing plant of the NZZ newspaper has opened its doors in order to host all kinds of events. dine&shine Event Catering has been granted the exclusive right by the new owner to use part of the building for a limited period of time. The «Eingangshalle» (entrance hall), which once served as the delivery zone for paper and machinery, has now been transformed into a gathering place characterized by industrial flair. With its impressive 12 meter (40ft) high ceilings, the «Alte Druckereihalle» (old printing hall) directly adjoining the entrance hall offers an elegant industrial ambiance and space for a wide variety of events for a maximum of 800 guests. These spacious and high-ceilinged halls provide event organizers with numerous usage options – whether corporate events, galas or exhibitions. This temporary event location, which goes under the name of Offset, can be booked for events with up to 800 guests until December 2017. Furthermore, dine&shine is currently looking into the possibility of using a further event hall in the former NZZ printing works – the «Neue Druckereihalle» (new printing hall), which has capacity for 1,100 people.
