Venues

The Marina Lachen hotel is situated at the southernmost point of Lake Zurich. The banquet facilities on the upper floor offer an unobstructed view of the harbor and lake.

Also on the lakeshore, in Pfäffikon/Canton Schywz, are the modern seminar hotel, Seedamm Plaza, and the welcoming Hotel Restaurant Schiff. Here, a wide variety of spaces can accommodate up to 1,000 and 200 guests respectively.

The Sihlpark Hotel is set amidst a beautiful recreation area between Lake Zurich and Einsiedeln – an ideal retreat for meetings in a relaxed atmosphere.

From the Hotel Drei Könige in Einsiedeln, guests look directly onto the imposing Benedictine abbey. The abbey is the largest place of pilgrimage in Switzerland and an important stop on the Way of St. James.

A guided tour of Einsiedeln Abbey provides a comprehensive insight into the over one-thousand-year-old history of this cultural site. Groups even have the exclusive opportunity to visit the monastery library, which is not generally open to the public.

A regional folk music group celebrates the more secular traditions of Central Switzerland, and gives rise to a convivial atmosphere at all kinds of events.

The famous “weather sniffers” from the Muotathal valley are real characters. In the course of their humorous seminar, they share their extensive knowledge on how to forecast the weather, which is based on closely observing the nature.

At the Einsiedeln Milchmanufaktur – or milk manufactory – groups can learn the age-old craft of cheese-making. After the ripening period, the self-made cheeses are delivered to participants’ home for them to eat themselves.

The FoodTrail leads right through the pilgrimage town of Einsiedeln. At each stop on this exciting scavenger hunt, a wide variety of local specialties are waiting to be tasted.

Food lovers who like to wield a wooden spoon or barbecue tongs can prepare a multi-course menu under expert guidance and afterwards sit down and enjoy it. For those who prefer sweet creations, the chocolate workshop is just the thing. What’s more, participants are welcome to sample the chocolate!

Enjoy the once-in-a-life experience of standing at the top of a ski jump and perhaps even hurtling down it on an airboard. Not for the faint-hearted!

A more leisurely option is the steam train ride up Mt. Rigi on board a historical locomotive. Meanwhile, dinner in a cable car cabin high above Lake Lucerne is an absolute high-light.

Visitors can also head for the heights on the world’s steepest funicular, which takes them up to Stoos and then on to Fronalpstock. From here, they can delight in a fantastic panoramic view over 10 lakes and of numerous mountain peaks.

In contrast, a tour through the Hölloch, one of the largest cave systems in the world, takes you underground. Far removed from the outside world, there are fascinating rock formations and impressive stalactites to discover.

A snowshoe tour through the snow-covered landscape followed by a traditional fondue feast promises a cozy ambiance and plenty of fun. And having eaten your fill, you can glide down the ski piste into the valley on a “Skibockerl” ski-toboggan.

Sled dogs and a romantic campfire await guests during a visit to the Husky Lodge. In winter, there is an additional option of a snowshoe hike. Husky trekking with these four-legged friends is possible all year round.

Experience your office or hotel from a different perspective by playing on-site mini-golf, an activity that is fun and provides variety. Full concentration and body control are required for archery or crossbow shooting. Even without previous experience, these sports can give participants a real sense of achievement.
