Ricarda Jacomet grew up in the Graubünden mountains and her mother tongue, Romansh, is only spoken by around 0.5% of the Swiss population. She studied Tourism in Chur, specializing in event management and sustainability, and subsequently turned this passion into her profession: in 2012, Ricarda Jacomet relocated from the mountains to the city and since then has been advising event planners on organizing conventions and meetings in Zurich – with a particular focus on sustainability.

The amateur cook enjoys the culinary diversity of the gastronomic scene in the city, yet at the same time is pleased that her beloved mountains are in the close vicinity. She has many tips for sustainable congresses, some of which she shares here.
