Roots

The young restaurateurs at Roots have recognized the signs of the times and opened an on-trend, frill-free vegan restaurant in the heart of Zurich. The first thing you see on entering is the long counter, behind which fresh produce is industriously transformed into mouthwatering dishes. The restaurant itself is not very large – the idea is that guests just stay for a quick bite to eat or buy food to take out.

The large selection of juices, smoothies, and varied salads, as well as exciting and scrumptious sandwiches and soups, make it difficult for the guest to choose. Among the firm favorites are the açaì bowls – superfood and taste explosion all in one. Whatever they end up choosing, everyone leaves Roots with a full belly and a clear conscience.
