PubliBike “Züri Velo”
Mount the bicycle and set off on a tour of discovery: with “Züri Velo”, sporty urban explorers can ride through the streets of Zurich on two wheels.
Those who like to get around under their own steam, without being dependent on public transportation or an automobile can explore Zurich by “Velo”, as bicycles are called in Switzerland. And with “Züri Velo” by PubliBike, hiring a bike is simple.
After registering online, a map is displayed showing the various docking stations in Zurich and the number of available bikes. At the chosen docking station, the user simply selects a bike, unlocks it with a press of a button, and off they go.
The ride comes to an end when the bike is returned to one of the “Züri Velo” stations and the padlock is closed again. Users can see in their customer account how much the ride cost and the amount that was debited from their credit card.
