Husky Trekking

With this activity program, nature and animal lovers experience an adventure-packed trekking tour far away from everyday life with some very special four-legged friends – the energetic husky sled dogs.

The guided husky trekking for groups begins with meeting the dogs in the husky enclosure. Here participants and dogs get to know each other, while the musher – the person who drives the dog team – relates all kinds of interesting facts about caring for, handling and working with huskies.

Secured with a special harness, participants then embark on an exciting trek through the wonderful Muotathal Alpine world. This region is located just an hour outside Zurich in the canton of Schwyz, in the heart of Switzerland. The return trip to the husky lodge is undertaken on foot. The hike takes approximately two hours and leads via natural paths and mountain trails. Depending on the program, at the end guests even have the opportunity to help feed the entire pack of huskies.
