Day Trip to Lucerne and Skiing on Mt. Titlis

This full-day excursion first takes you to the famous city of Lucerne. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Mt. Titlis, where a real winter adventure with skiing and snowtubing awaits you - a truly unforgettable experience

A coach journey takes you from Zurich along the shoreline of Lake Lucerne to Lucerne. During a short city tour, you visit the most important sights – Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church and the KKL Culture and Congress Center.

After some free time to spend as you please, the tour continues to Engelberg, the departure point for a ride on the Titlis Xpress up to the “Trübsee” middle station. Here, under the supervision of a snow park employee and suitably equipped with skis, ski poles and helmets, guests can make their first attempts at skiing on the beginner´s slopes or glide down the mountainside on rubber tires known as snow tubes.

Subsequently, the Rotair revolving cable car whisks you up to the summit station of the Titlis at 3,238m (10,623ft) above sea level, where you are treated to a magnificent Alpine panorama. The return trip to the valley in the late afternoon goes to Engelberg and back to Zurich via Lucerne.

Important: To enjoy this excursion in the snow, it is essential to wear a warm winter jacket, sturdy footwear and gloves. It is recommended that you also bring with you ski pants and/or a spare pair of everyday pants – depending on the weather, your clothing may get wet.

A professional, multilingual tour guide escorts the tour from Zurich to Mt. Titlis and back. During the fun in the snow, the guide is not present: a Titlis snow park employee supervises activities and is on hand to deal with any problems that may arise.

The minimum age for children is 10 years.
